Ivermectin Drops 0.1% 10ml contains 1mg Ivermectin per ml.

For: Treatment of mites in cage birds.

Dosage rate: one drop per 60g bodyweight per week between the shoulder blade for three weeks.

Dosage guide:

Weight Dosage
60g 1 drop
125g 2 drops
250g 4 drops
500g 8 drops

 

For topical use only. Do not allow the animal to swallow this product.

Do not give to other animals in the home (i.e. not for cats, dogs, tortoises etc) as reactions may be serious or fatal. For animal treatment only. Not licensed for use on chickens or other food producing species.

Ivermectin 0.1% application:

    All of these products have saved the life of my bird. Although I haven’t actually used this, I’m keeping it for preventative reasons. Highly recommended website

    Safe use of product

    I've used Ivermectin for many years , but I do not follow the instructions to apply it to the neck , as I have lost birds by doing so as have other finch & softbill keepers . I apply it to the underwing area as do others although I understand some apply it to the rump . Doing so allows it to be diluted in the blood before it reaches the brain

    I have used it before it does what it says it will I use it every year the same as I have always done as prevention is better than cure.
