Golden Tropic Lori Nectar is a complete food with great palatablity that contains all the vitamin and mineral expertise that is the hallmark of Birdcare Company products. In trials we found that because of its complete formulation, birds were eating between 25-50% less of Golden Tropic than any other nectar food, either formulated or home-made, with no loss of weight or condition which means great savings for you. With the reduced intake, it also means less messy droppings. If you wish, Golden Tropic Lori Nectar can be fed thicker than described in the application rate or even dry, as long as fresh drinking water is always available. The less water you put in the formulation, the less messy the droppings will be.

Application: Dissolve in water at the rate of 50g of Special Needs
Diet 2 to 180mls of water. Birds with major digestive disorders should be fed Special NeedsDiet (original formulation). Use of that product as 100% of the dietfor many years (4-6) will eventually lead
to a build up of fat in the liver. So, as their condition stabilizes you should slowly switch to Special needs Diet 2. Start by mixing the two products 75:25 for aweek then go to 50:50, then 25:75 then 100% Special
Needs Diet 2. Monitor your birds condition during this process.

diet for difficult to feed parrots. Highly palatable base food (sunflower kernals, peanut granules, raisans and mixed peppers) supplemented with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids
and protein to make a completely balanced diet for pet parrots.
Application: Feed as at least 80% of the food intake and you will require no extra vitamin supplements. Use of Calcivet
twice a week is still recommended.
