The most common nutritional problem in greys is calcium and vitamin D deficiencies. Vitamin D is
essential for the absorption of calcium so these two problems go together. In fact these two are the most common problems in all captive bird species but some greys have a particular problem managing their blood calcium
levels.
For greys that have not been given Calcivet (CalciBoost) before we would suggest they get the product at a frequency of five days a week for a month dropping to twice a week thereafter. The addition of
