I have a hen Kakariki which I keep as a pet because she was being bullied in an aviary. She was getting very run down after ;laying several clutches of clear eggs in spite of following advice in books and magazines, such as adjusting her diet, reducing her daylight hours, and letting her sit on each clutch until the eggs went bad. (According to the above advice she was supposed to get fed up with her eggs, but she sat tighter the longer I left them). She refused any kind of eggfood, proprietory or home made and the only green food she would eat was spinach.

After less than a week of Fussy Feeder Essentials, together with Calcivet (CalciBoost) and Aviclens (Saniclens) in her drinking water daily, she is now sprouting lots of new feathers on her once almost bald little head, is full of energy, has a ravenous appetite, and is eating egg biscuit with gusto.

I would like to say how pleased we are with your products. We have been using a full range of your products for our Lovebirds and Parrot like for the past three years and been delighted with the results. Our success at the 1998 - 1999 National Exhibition of Cage and Aviary Birds support this. In 1998 from 12 Lovebirds staged we won 8 firsts, best peached-faced and best current year owner bred lovebird, also our current year owner bred senegal parrots which had to be handreared for which we used your products were 2nd best current year owner bred parrot like. In 1999 10 lovebirds staged 7 first 2 seconds and 1 fifth best current year owner bred lovebird which also came 2nd best current year owner bred parrot like and our green cheeked conure were best current year owner bred parrot like and 2nd best current year owner bred foreign.
I know a lot of people say the products are expensive but if you want to do well money shouldn't come into it. We also know that you have to have quality birds to start with but as they say a bird has to be bred for, feed for and cared for, and your products obviously add the extra sparkle.

I am extremely grateful for the Toys you produce which can be destroyed. Acrylic playthings may be a good idea but for "destruction" they are useless. My parrot is interested and is getting a lot of "beak exercise" which we find valuable especially during the many dark and miserable days when she would previously just fluff-up and go to sleep. My imported African grey, Benny, went down with psittacosis and a malarial type blood virus after we had just acquired him. He was more dead than alive and so we fed him for 10 days with Poly-Aid (Survive) and warm water, he ate nothing else at all during this period. He then seemed a little better so we used baby food, Spark (Energize) and large doses of Calcivet (CalciBoost). He made steady progress and is now looking plump and in fine feather, due to rapid and intensive veterinary treatment and Poly-Aid (Survive).

Having finished my breeding season I now have 60 fully fledged fife canaries from 12 hens in the first round. I followed the Birdcare supplement plan as well as using Proboost , Calcivet (CalciBoost), Potent Brew,  Maxima and Daily Essentials. My partner, Billy, used Daily Essentials 2 , Proboost and Calcivet (CalciBoost) and obtained 112 chicks from 15 hens in the first round. One of his hens was used in a second round and produced 7 chicks again, 14 chicks in two rounds.

I keep grass parakeets and had to hand rear two White Breasted Splendids at one week old. They began to moult into adults and the cock bird was having a really bad time of it. He was hunched up all day with new feathers arriving and old ones falling out. He looked lifeless to say the least. I bought some Feather-Up and in a couple of days the cock was as lively as a cricket. I also use Spark (Energize), Aviclens (Saniclens), Proboost, Calcivet (CalciBoost) and Daily Essentials. The birds are now both beautiful, fully moulted out young birds

Mike Down tells us that on May 13th '1997 he had to stop breeding because he has so many chicks. Since starting to use our products he had more in the first round than in the previous 3 years put together. At the time, Mike used ProBoost , Aviclens (Saniclens) and Soluvet.

Soluvet has now been improved to Daily Essentials1 .

John Morris from Aberdeen has used all of the Birdcare Company's products this year for breeding and has had his best season ever. He has won 'Best Bird in Show' 4 times including Scottish National - supreme champion. He has also accumulated numerous other awards through the season including 'best unflighted bird'

I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for your very prompt and helpful response to my recent letter in which I appealed for some assistance with a bird keeping problem. Also for the equally efficient way you dealt with my subsequent order for some of your products.
